Assistant Sales Manager – Public Sector

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies targeting government ministries, state institutions, and public-sector organizations.
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with existing public-sector clients while identifying new business opportunities.
- Support the Sales Manager in preparing proposals, tenders, quotations, and presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions, proposals, and post-sales support.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and public-sector procurement processes.
- Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights to help achieve overall sales targets.
- Participate in promotional activities, events, and meetings related to public-sector engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum G.C.E. A/L qualification; a degree or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development (experience in public-sector sales is a strong advantage).
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tender procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term professional relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Age preferably below 35 years.
- Salary – Depends on Experience and Qualifications / Salary starting from 150,000.00 + Vehicle allowance and fuel.
- Working Days & time – Monday to Friday 8.30 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. Saturday Half Day 8.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m.
