Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Technical Lead (ATL) with strong expertise in PHP and Angular to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading development initiatives, providing technical guidance to team members, and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires a balance of hands-on development, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and efficient technical solutions.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of web applications and product features.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers while promoting development best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work closely with globally distributed teams and client stakeholders across different time zones.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software quality practices.
- Develop clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code using PHP and Angular technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive performance optimization initiatives.
- Support and maintain existing applications while ensuring reliability, scalability, and availability.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and technology evaluations.
- Implement and promote automated testing and quality assurance practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern development methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional software development experience, including experience in leading or mentoring development teams.
- Strong hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Strong expertise in Angular and modern front-end development frameworks.
- Solid experience with MySQL and relational database design.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the Symfony Framework.
- Exposure to AI tools, AI-assisted development, or AI-driven implementations.
- Experience with React Native mobile application development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
