About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing food production and delivery company specializing in freshly prepared lunch meals for offices and factories. Orders are placed through direct corporate partnerships and via their mobile platform, Pink Panda, designed for convenient pre-ordering and timely delivery.They are currently looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to manage and optimize cost structures, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

Cost Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food production costs, packaging, and delivery expenses
- Develop and maintain standard costing for menu items and meal plans
- Conduct regular cost analysis and identify areas for cost reduction
- Track daily consumption of raw materials and minimize wastage
- Work closely with procurement and kitchen teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability reports
- Reconcile inventory usage with production output
- Support pricing strategies based on cost and market trends
- Ensure accurate recording of all cost-related data and compliance with internal controls
Candidate Requirements
- Part or full qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Management (AAT/CIMA/CMA/Chartered or equivalent)
- 2–4 years of experience in cost control, preferably in food production or hospitality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and costing systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and food costing practices
- Ability to analyze financial data and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
