Executive / Senior Executive – Compensation & Compliance

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR professional to manage Compensation & Compliance functions. The role will support the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain HR policies aligned with Sri Lankan labor regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of compensation practices, payroll coordination, and labor law compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Support the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, salary bands, bonus schemes, and incentive programs aligned with market trends and business objectives.

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and assist in salary reviews and negotiations, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and statutory benefits.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to compensation and benefits.

  • Prepare compensation and benefits reports and provide analytical insights to support leadership decision-making.

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure full compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws and statutory requirements (Minimum Wage, EPF, ETF, Gratuity, etc.).

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures related to compensation, benefits, and compliance.

  • Monitor regulatory changes, conduct compliance audits, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Draft and issue employment-related documents such as Letters of Offer (LOOs), Letters of Appointment (LOAs), service letters, and other official correspondence with accuracy and compliance.

Payroll & HR Operations

  • Partner closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely monthly salary processing.

  • Educate employees and managers on compensation practices, benefits, and company policies through effective communication and training sessions.

  • Handle employee disciplinary matters and support conflict resolution in collaboration with HR and management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.

  • 3–4 years of overall HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits.

  • Prior experience in salary benchmarking is an added advantage.

  • In-depth knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and statutory regulations.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.

  • Good computer literacy (MS Office, Google Sheets).

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Ability to handle complex situations and resolve conflicts professionally.
