Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales – Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances to lead and drive the company's sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, leading high-performing sales teams, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of organizational sales objectives.
This role requires a strategic leader with strong commercial acumen, exceptional people management skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth within a competitive market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's corporate objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and market expansion initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and increase market share across assigned product categories and channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Sales Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, motivate, and develop sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Establish clear performance objectives, KPIs, and sales plans for team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, and business partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and effective relationship management.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support the development of strategic partnerships.
- Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain long-term business relationships.
Business Analysis & Reporting
- Utilize sales data, market intelligence, and performance analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Analyze sales performance and market penetration to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
- Provide recommendations on business strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer service levels.
- Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and business development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a sales leadership or senior sales management role.
- Experience within the Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, FMCG, Retail, or related industry will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Strong understanding of sales planning, forecasting, and performance management.
