Import Executive (Logistics / Customs Clearance)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Executive to manage end-to-end import operations, documentation, and customs clearance processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of international import regulations, logistics procedures, and compliance requirements to ensure smooth and timely shipment clearance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end import documentation and related logistics processes.

Coordinate with clearing agents, customs officials, and relevant authorities to ensure timely clearance of shipments.

Ensure all import activities comply with local and international regulations.

Follow up with international vendors on purchase orders to ensure timely shipment and delivery.

Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any delays or documentation discrepancies.

Handle regulatory documentation for special cargo, including DG (Dangerous Goods) and NMRA-regulated products where applicable.

Maintain accurate records of import documentation and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements

Sound knowledge of logistics processes and international import regulations.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Experience handling DG (Dangerous Goods) cargo will be an added advantage.

Experience managing NMRA-regulated products is preferred.

CHA license holders will be given preference.

Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or import operations is required.
