Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to drive cloud architecture, infrastructure transformation, and DevOps excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD practices, along with strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and lead mission-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.

  • Lead major infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.

  • Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and governance.

  • Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering knowledge sharing.

  • Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments when required.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute technical strategies.

  • Drive automation initiatives and continuous infrastructure improvements.

  • Lead incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and complex problem resolution.

  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, compliance, and performance standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

  • Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture patterns.

  • Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.

  • Expert-level Linux/Unix system administration skills.

  • Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

  • Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and related tools.

  • Experience managing multi-account AWS environments and AWS Organizations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.

  • Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.

Desired Skills

  • AWS Professional Certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect Professional).

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.

  • Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
