Senior IFS Manufacturing Functional Consultant

What you will do

1. Lead or own functional workstreams in end-to-end IFS Manufacturing implementations, upgrades and support engagements.
2. Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops, document manufacturing processes, identify gaps and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
3. Design and configure IFS processes for relevant manufacturing models, including Engineer-to-Order (ETO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), batch and repetitive manufacturing, and component MRO.
4. Apply functional expertise across shop orders, material planning and MRP, cost breakdown structures (CBS), manufacturing costing and related production flows.
5. Translate approved designs into configuration, test scenarios, user documentation and training materials; support users through adoption.
6. Plan and support functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
7. Work with technical colleagues on integrations, reports, data migration and extensions, ensuring requirements and dependencies are clear.
8. Manage customer expectations, communicate risks and progress, and coordinate effectively with project managers and other workstreams.
9. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous improvement of Bitzify’s IFS delivery approach.

What you will bring

1. Typically 4–8 years of experience working with the IFS Manufacturing module and 2–4 completed end-to-end IFS Manufacturing implementations.
2. Strong functional knowledge across ETO, CTO, batch manufacturing, component MRO and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
3. Practical experience with shop orders, MRP, CBS, manufacturing costing and connected production processes.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead requirements discussions, design solutions, configure IFS and guide customers through implementation decisions.
5. Experience delivering implementation, upgrade or support projects on IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud.
6. Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills, with care for scope, quality and documentation.
7. Clear written, verbal and presentation skills, including confidence working with customer stakeholders and technical teams.
8. Ability to manage assigned work independently while collaborating across a multi-disciplinary project team.
9. Willingness to travel for short-term or longer customer assignments as project needs require.

Helpful experience

1. Experience in manufacturing industries using ETO, CTO, batch, repetitive or MRO operating models.
2. Experience with IFS Cloud, Aurena, manufacturing integrations, reporting or data migration.
