Senior .NET Backend Developer

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and .NET 8+.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain RESTful Web APIs, SDKs, reusable libraries, and core platform components.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and design principles.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests using xUnit to ensure software reliability and quality.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments.
- Present technical solutions, demonstrate completed features, and communicate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Leverage AI tools and automation technologies to improve development efficiency and workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET (preferably .NET 8+).
- Strong experience designing and developing backend systems, RESTful APIs, and SDKs.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server (2018+), Docker, and Git version control.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using xUnit or similar testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated deployment pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile environments with distributed or remote teams.
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools and automating engineering workflows.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality software.
Nice to Have
- Experience with plugin-based, modular, or extensible application architectures.
- Working knowledge of C/C++, including memory management and buffer handling.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch and search technologies.
- Experience with AST (Abstract Syntax Tree) or Parse Tree-based code generation.
- Understanding of compiler design, programming language grammars, and code analysis tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Ansible, and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Experience building AI-assisted development tools or automating workflows using AI agents.
